The Seven Brothers Contest is inspired by Aleksis Kivi’s novel The Seven Brothers. Fun is the name of the game.
Events can include archery, darts, welly boot throwing, a quiz, skiing, axe throwing, horseshoe throwing or catapulting.

A contest in the spirit of the Olympics - what counts is fair play, good company and having fun - winning is not the point here! Gustavelund's own Olympics Committee has put together a new programme.
The festive opening ceremony involves lighting the Olympic torch and swearing the oath, and everyone is guaranteed a place on their team! The events include biathlon, team shot put, park golf etc.
Citius, altius, fortius!
In case of rain, the Olympics can be adapted to indoors.

Gustavelund paintball is fast-paced fun that will put a glint in your eye! This light-hearted rough and tumble is just the thing before a sauna or after a meeting. Teams of 4-6 play against each other until the knockout between the two best teams. Although you are armed, you’re safe in your protective clothing and it’s all about having fun. Face protection is also provided.
Groups of over 30 persons are divided into two and take turns at paintball and a parallel programme of Take Aim.

Accuracy and quick wits are the name of the game in this contest, played out in the beautiful park at Gustavelund. Ties and high heels don’t prevent you from rolling on the lawn in laughter.
Events include paintball rapid sharpshooting, frisbee-golf and park golf with “park golf balls” and golf clubs. In fact, the golf clubs are the only connection with proper golf –the rules are less traditional too!
All in all, Tie and high heels is an excellent workout - for your laughing muscles...

Take the cooking challenge! Which team will cook up the best dish? In this playful cooking contest teams of 4-7 members pit their barbecue and teamwork skills. You will be judged by a demanding expert, and you can sample mouth-watering tasters.
This relaxed contest is good entertainment for groups of all sizes and whets your appetite.
The cooking challenge takes place in the lakeside park, and can be organised from spring to autumn.
Duration approx. 1 -2 hours. Groups of over 70 participants are divided into two and take turns at barbecuing and a parallel campsite contest, then the programme takes 3-3.5 hours in total.

The campsite contest is centred around the lakeside landscape and a real campfire. The contest can be held in both winter and summer.
The tasks include biathlon on tandem skis, broomball, problem solving and frisbee-golf. The tasks vary according to the season. As a member of their team, everyone experiences the thrill of success.

Put your heads together to solve some playful tasks in Gustavelund’s wonderful winter garden.
A relaxed board game beneath the giant date palm requiring brains and teamwork.
Events include Amazon blowpipe, Draw Out, "maestro of useless information" and table football.
Just the thing after a full day of meetings. For small and large groups.
Duration approx. 1 – 1.5 hours depending on group size.

A combined culture and exercise event using traditional long boats and bikes.
Gustavelund’s culture challenge is definitely the most fun way to see the sights and the unique cultural landscape along Tuusula’s Lake Road. Is your team brawny or brainy?
Teams compete on style, skill and knowledge. Quiz subjects include art, literature, cultural history and poetry. The route takes you from Aleksis Kivi’s memorial cottage to Erkkola, Onnela and Halosenniemi by long boat and bike or hiking.
Teams are given an art pack to complete a charcoal drawing exercise.
You could show off your artwork over a barbecue meal together.
Along the way we also hear anecdotes about the area’s cultural history and after the outing there’s a little quiz for the teams. The best team is awarded a diploma.
