FAMILIA SCHROEDER: Saurus Sauvignon Blanc 2008, Patagonia, Argentina

Description: A wine with citrus fragrances, and crisp notes. The nose includes fragrances of lime and grapefruit. The palate is suitably acidic, with a satisfying, balanced finish.
Grape: Sauvignon Blanc
Goes well with: Perfect with lightly seasoned fish dishes. Also goes very well with Asian food.
Other : Remains of a Titanosaur, one of the largest herbivore dinosaurs, were found when the winery was being built. This amazing discovery served as inspiration for the wine brand name ‘Saurus’ in honour of these giants that dwelled in Patagonia 75 million years ago. The wine is exclusive to Gustavelund, and cannot be obtained anywhere else in Finland.

FAMILIA SCHROEDER: Saurus Cabernet Sauvignon 2007, Patagonia, Argentina

Description: Ruby red in colour, the palate contains fruit, black pepper and spices. The wine is partly matured in oak casks, giving the wine elegant fragrances of vanilla and coffee. A full-bodied and well balanced wine.
Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon
Goes well with: Perfect with game, meat stews and seasoned pasta dishes.
